Todays my birthday I got bloomers, blue, and this diary. Saturday I got my first bra. I was double promoted from 7th grade to 8th grade. I got promoted half a grade and went to summer school in 1962 made up half a grade again. Lynn LaForest is in my class. Vaughn Grubs is now have a grade behind me. I like him. Lynn Kenny now is a whole grade behind me. I like him too. I’m 12 today. I got $10 from Aunt Herta and Uncle Valdas. I reading the 1963 almanac p. 16.
